I've been using this battery now for a few months and it's great! It replaced the original 1300 mAh (about 13 years old and down to a 3 minute run time if lucky). The DC31 is probably getting around 20 minutes with this replacement...the supplied battery was about 8 minutes. I couldn't be happier...made an old machine even better with more than double the run time of the original Dyson battery. Based on my experience don't hesitate to recommend this product.
